Gloomroll Depths privacy policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

Gloomroll Depths is made by Wet Torch Studios ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game collects and why. The short version: we don't want your data. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.

What stays on your device

Your hero's name and look, gold, stash, settings and local high scores are saved on your device. We never see them, except for the leaderboard entries described below. Deleting the game deletes this save.

Online leaderboards

When you finish a run, the game sends a leaderboard entry to SilentWolf, the third-party service that hosts our leaderboards. Each entry contains only:

Leaderboards are public: anyone playing the game can see your hero name and score. Please don't use your real name or anything personal as your hero name. Like any internet service, SilentWolf's servers receive your IP address when the game connects; we don't receive or store it. You can read SilentWolf's own terms and privacy information on their site.

The game does not collect your email, real name, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers or advertising identifiers.

What we don't do

Children

Gloomroll Depths is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has put personal information in a hero name, email us and we'll remove it.

Removing your data

To remove a leaderboard entry, email support@wettorchstudios.com with the hero name and board (Full Run or Deepest Depth). Full Run entries also clear themselves each month.

Changes

If the game starts collecting anything new, we'll update this page and the date at the top before that update ships.
